How do we integrate international students within our bilingual Nursery School?
International students find or discover at school a largely English-speaking environment: daily life, learning, interaction with teachers. Adaptation is quick and natural, the majority of British origin and qualifications of the teachers contribute to a safe and rewarding educational approach.
They thus continue their personal progress within the framework of the educational objectives specific to the nursery school and benefit from contact with French, in particular by rubbing shoulders with certain classmates or during certain sequences.
The learning of French will be gradually developed, it will be done naturally and in depth together with the native French-speaking classmates.
The great pedagogical flexibility specific to kindergarten classes allows each student to evolve and develop his or her language at his or her own pace.
Bilingualism and the acquired knowledge will allow them to freely follow a billingual schooling integrated within the French system, or an anglophone curriculum, whether it is national or international.
