From October 14 to 18, 18 courageous ambassadors came to visit their pen friends in Ombrosa Caluire and Voglans.
The first whole day was dedicated to the school with different activities, songs, workshop, circus, treasure hunt, sports and arts.
On Friday, students visited the model museum in the Old Town and ate their picnic in the Roman Theatre thanks to a great weather. The afternoon was dedicated to more visits: Fourvière gardens, aastronomical clock of Saint Jean…. In the end, the climax of the day was the shopping session for souvenirs.
For the week-end, students were trully spoiled by their host families.
On Sunday night, everybody had to say goodbye at the airport, and exchanged promisses to come back to visit.
This trip was a real success that allowed for people to consolidate or create very strong friendships between French and English, but also between families.
