On Wednesday, May 19 2010, Lower Secondary students took the bus at 8.00 am to go to Genève.
First they had a visit of the Palace of Nations in the morning. After that, they followed a guided tour of the conference rooms and of the beautiful room for the League of Nations.
Our students really enjoyed these visits and learned that each year, the ONU hosts thousands of meetings dedicated to many questions such as the reduction of the number of nuclear weapons, the protection of Human Rights, or humanitarian assistance.
After a short picnic, students visited the Croix Rouge and Croissant Rouge Museum. Many workshops were expecting them to better undeerstand the role this organization holds in the world.
