The 5° classes went on an outing on May 25 : Hike on the geological path & visit of the Electricity Museum in Poleymieux au Mont d’Or
This outing prepared by the sciences teachers led our students on the geological path from Chasselay to Poleymieux au Mont d’Or to reconstruct thanks to their observations the history of the Monts d’Or since 450 millions of years! They discovered clues on site (rocks, fossils, stratum…) that told the story of the variations of landscapes through geological periods (great mountain range, tropical beach or deep sea…).
After a well diserved picnic, students visited the Electricity Museum in the maison Ampère where the life and experiments of André-Marie Ampère were presented to them.
This day was placed under the sign of sun and happiness.
