FRANCO-GERMAN WEEK AT OMBROSA

JANUARY 2014

To celebrate the Elysée Treaty that sealed the reconciliation between France and Germany in 1963, it has been decided that January 22nd would become the “Franco-German Day” in both countries.

The news often remind us how important the exchanges between both countries in many fields.

In Ombrosa, the exchanges with German highschoolers are a long-established tradition. Many students take park each spring for three weeks in an immersive trip in the Düsseldorf region to discover the culture and language of Germany.

Throughout the year, and especially in June, we welcome back at Ombrosa many of the German pen friends.

To remain faithful to the tradition, students of troisième (G9/Y10) organize cultural activities that allow Lower secondary students to discover (again) the language, culture and daily life of Germany.

These activities will this year take place

FROM MONDAY, JANUARY 20th UNTIL FRIDAY, JANUARY 24th
