Observation of the solar eclipse in Secondary SchoolsThe teaching teams of both Lower and Upper Secondary Schools in Ombrosa Caluire were mobilized to give a chance to students to safely observe the solar eclipse on March 20th, 2015. With their protection glasses, students of Lower and Upper Secondary could watch the partial eclipse through the clouds.
For safety, since Lower Secondary students did not have glasses, students could enjoy and follow the eclipse as it was broadcasted on a big screen, since it was filmed by the observatory of the pic du midi.
Science teachers seized this opportunity to explain this phenomenon through educational activities available to students.
