With a two-hour show and 400 people in the audience over two nights the troupe members’ of the Musical Theatre Club of Ombrosa Lower Secondary School lifted their hands and voices to perform a great interpretation of Aladin.
19 students gathered twice every week with their drama, sports and music teachers to work on the choreography. Their digilent work paid off as they offered a beautiful performance that the public truly enjoyed and was acclaimed by the professional sound directors working on the show.
Our aspiring young artists had a chance to develop and express their talent. The whole troupe was fully committed to the show, and experienced an authentic adventure, both artistic and humane.
Congratulations and thank you to all who contributed. We will meet again in 2016 for a new show.
A DVD of the complete show can be ordered at the reception desk of the school.
