It was amazing to discover the institute and this beautiful villa in which the Lumière brothers lived, but also this incredible family from Lyon and their inventions.
The visit of the Lumière Institut allowed our students to learn who the Lumière brothers were, through a documentary about the inventors of photography and cinema, their multiple and amazing innovations. Students enjoyed the garden of the family house to have their picnic.
The afternoon was dedicated to the screening of a documentary on Alfred Hitchcock, master of suspens and pioneer of multiple techniques in the art of making a good thriller movie.
