A volunteer from Handichien comes to Ombrosa
Half of the profits from the Christmas card sales in December go to a charity called ‘Handichien’ which buys and trains dogs to help people with a disability. A volunteer came to Ombrosa on May 30th to show the CE2 classes some of the things a trained dog can do. “Hipsie” was the name of the dog that came. The students enjoyed the demonstration, and especially liked when they got to pet Hipsie afterwards.
