
This year, our teachers of History, Geography, Moral and Civic Edication offered an educational project on the theme of forced migrations to our pupils in 4° (G8/Y9).
This project was organised in different parts:
– Working on the Geography programme in class for all pupils
– Deeper research on the case of refugees, asylum seekers and undocumented immigrants in class for al pupils
– Conference with people and/or organisations in relation with that matter (OFPRA, former academics and ambassadors, MSF) for all pupils
– Creation of scientific posters representing the different aspects of forced migrations by a group of about twenty motivated pupils
– Writing reading records on comic books describing the journey of migrants by a group of about twenty motivated pupils
– Photo exhibition on related to the theme (lent by MSF, photo attached)
– Visit of the UN in Geneva (Palais des Nations, UNHCR) for 27 motivated pupils
