CE1 pupils celebrated Roman Day on Tuesday, 26th June
Soldiers, slaves, wealthy Romans and Emperors arrived at school, ready for a day of Roman-themed activities. The children made an amphitheatre puppet show, wrote on clay tablets and dined at a Roman banquet. Finally, they enjoyed Roman entertainment, involving Ombrosa-style chariot-racing and gladiator combats. Justine said it was the best day of her life!
