Once again this year, the CM1 (G4/Y5) and CM2 (G5/Y6) students got involved for ELA (Association Européenne contre les Leucodystrophies). This action took place in 3 steps throughout the school year and get them involved at different levels.
Firstly, it is a “school” commitment: students were visited by the basketball Olympic champion Guillaume Joli, who came to raise awareness towards this disease and present as a patron the ELA association. Then, students took the ELA dictation simultaneously with other schools in France.
Il is also a “citizen” commitment: each student had to search for donors to raise money for the association. The fund-raising ended last week and allowed to raise more than 7115€! A huge congrats to all of our students that were so motivated for this worthy cause.
Lastly, it is a “humane and sporty” commitment: the last step took place lask week for the CM1 and this week for the CM2 and consisted in a race for sick children for which students put on their sports shoes and “lend” their legs to those who cannot run. Each student got involved at his/her level and they all gave their very best for the cause.
Thank you for your unflickering commitment throughout the years in favor of that charitable adventure!
