IB : Collaborative Sciences Project – Lycée

The students in Première, international section, spent a busy and exciting day participating in the International Baccalaureate Collaborative Sciences Project, during which the students must perform practical experiments in groups, relating to real-world problems.

Our investigative science groups worked on the themes of health and well-being, and zero hunger. Among several experiments going on throughout the day, we saw students steaming, boiling, and frying tomatoes to investigate vitamin C loss, while others calculated the burning time of food to assess which options were best suited to high level sportspeople.

The students worked hard during and before the big day, and really enjoyed themselves. We hope it will inspire them in their future scientific projects!
