Ombrosa high school students from both the International and the French section had the pleasure of attending this year’s ILYMUN conference at the prestigious Hôtel de Région, from the 13th to the 15th of March.
Our smartly dressed delegates from the lycée’s weekly MUN club took part in debates and lobbying sessions with pupils from all over France and Europe, simulating official United Nations procedures and writing resolution papers regarding some of the world’s most pressing issues.
warmly welcomed at the opening ceremony with choir performances and inspiring speeches from interesting and influential people such as councilors from the region of Rhone-Alpes, the Director of Legal and Institutional Affairs at Interpol, and educational directors.
Witnessing such enthusiasm and commitment to resolving global issues gives us all hope for a bright future. We are immensely proud of our students’ involvement in such a challenging and rewarding event! Many thanks to the CSI and ISL for inviting us once again to the ILYMUN conference.
